We are delighted, tickled, giggly (only me, of course), and extraordinarily #RockHot full of positive emotion to announce our brand, spanky new Go for Heart Program to celebrate the anniversary of our marketing podcast, The Heart of Marketing.
In honor of our one-year anniversary, John Gregory Olson and I want to thank you, our listeners and community, for continuing to inspire us and hold us accountable to keep creating The Heart of Marketing podcast. While last year, we kicked off our launch with a heartful celebration in February 2015 with the American Heart Association, this year we decided to innovate anew.
Our milestone is special because a marketing podcast is NOT for the feint of heart, honestly. Those marketing podcasters who are insanely successful have a wonderful community who contribute. To help us grow with new stories, we’re inviting you to take a growth step with us and help launch the Go for Heart Program.
When people create podcasts, it requires in-depth research to identify topics, explore angles, develop an outline (for which I thank my illustrious co-host, John, who is extraordinary at this), and find consensus on what to share. What we’ve noticed is an exponential level of stories that orient to crises, mishaps, negatives, and problem solving with little positive fanfare.
Our Go for Heart seeks the opposite. We want to identify those marketers who are:
- Delivering value
- Engaging with customers in a heartful way
- Earning positive results through solidly professional marketing
- Adhering to the 5 Pillars of Heart Marketing — Helpfulness, Experience, Awareness, Relationship and Trust
We want to find the daily marketing goodness and really positive heartful stories to share with our community. To do so, we need your help. While this program celebrates the first anniversary of The Heart of Marketing, it also celebrates you, your client, your volunteer organization, your community, your small business, and more.
